The purpose of this website is to give an alternative view to traditional religion. Simply put, faith is all the elements that we touch God with, in our minds or through circumstances. It is mainly GOD communicating to us. Religion is all the things mankind attaches to that communication; buildings, leaders, statues, and rules of worship. We all make similar separations or distinction between individuals.
Everyone recognizes the difference between the person who believes heartily and participates in an activity, and the person who does not believe and just goes along to get along. If you strip away all the man made baggage of traditional religion you are left with faith.
The separation of faith and religion has been going on since the beginning of mankind. In the Garden of Eden there was two trees, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil or knowing right and wrong is given to us by religion. The tree of life is represented by our salvation through faith. I believe that all the things beyond faith in traditional religion trace back to the Garden of Eden, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and are the reason man fell. Mankind's desperate struggle to enslave itself comes from mankind's original sin, religion.
So, I invite you to explore with me the enormous number of ways religion poisons our lives, and the many events of faith that make life worth living. Not all religions claim to worship the one true God. There are many religions that worship different gods. These gods include the earth in the environmental movement, the government in the communist movement, even mankind itself in the atheist movement. The end result of all these are the same, tyranny and or death. I believe that faith is a personal relationship with the almighty God and that relationship is established by God. God does not need any help in establishing that relationship, nor does he limit the means to achieve it. All mankind is free to find God. God is, now and forever, free to all who want him.
